Sorry for the problems you’ve been having.
The way the Beta/RC streams work is that they are specific to the version of WP your site is currently running. This, before we can offer Beta/RC - Bleed edge you must already be running a Bleeding edge version (not just have Bleeding edge selected!!). Similarly, before we can offer Beta/RC - Point release you must already be running a Point release nightly.
We understand that is a bit confusing and there is an issue in the GitHub repo for the plugin to add on on screen help to lessen the confusion…see add a Help tab on the settings screen: Issue 17.
@pbiron thank you. I have understood the most of your explanation, but there exists no Beta/RC - Point release. Will this be a future feature?
And as addition: Imo (since there exists atm. only the option Beta/RC - Bleeding edge) the Beta/RC option should be visible only, when you have chosen Bleeding edge nightlies and not when you have upgraded to Point releases nightlies.
Once you have already updated to a Point release nightly then the Beta/RC - Point release option will become available.
